Endowments

An endowment is the release or transmission of one’s absorbed mana so it can be projected to carry out a unique power. In essence, it is one’s personal expression of magic that creates a special and unique paranormal ability that can’t be taught or learned by others.

The way an entity processes the mana of the world into their bodies, produces a unique expression of power as it is released. Unlike biomagic, even natural beings can have an endowment, though it is usually harder to find.

An Endowment manifests as a superpower like teleportation, pyrokinesis and many others. Every individual in the Arcane Realm possess their abilities from the moment they are born but it usually awakens later in life. The ability is usually determined by their personality or what is most special to the person. Conventional society describes them in two ways: Strong Starters who start of with a really powerful endowment and Late Bloomers who may have a “weird” power but can grow without limits if they can develop clever ways to use it.

Individuals who use their endowments as their main style of magic (or biomagical attributes) are called Sorcerers.

The paranormal powers that an endowment can be usually follows the following categories.
